In partnership with our colleagues at Panda, Emerald Park is taking a meaningful stride toward sustainability and smarter public-space management with the deployment of Bigbelly smart waste and recycling bins. These innovative stations, now installed across several high-traffic areas of the park, promise a cleaner park, reduced litter, and a more efficient waste-collection system.

Why Emerald Park Chose Bigbelly?

Bigbelly fits perfectly within the vision to enhance community cleanliness while reducing operational costs for several reasons:

  • Cleaner Public Spaces: Overflowing bins become a thing of the past, especially during busy weekends or seasonal events at the park.
  • Better Recycling Outcomes: Many Bigbelly stations include separate recycling stations, helping visitors to dispose of materials properly.
  • Improved Wildlife Safety: The enclosed design prevents animals from accessing waste and scattering litter.

Visitors will notice our Bigbelly Element stations across the park at busy high-traffic spots including the restaurants, 5D-cinema and picnic tables. Each location offers visitors to depose of general waste and recycling products accordingly.

Small Change with a Big Impact

The introduction of Bigbelly bins may seem like a small upgrade, but it’s one that contributes significantly to creating a cleaner, greener, more sustainable community. Emerald Park’s commitment to adopting smart infrastructure continues to pave the way for parks and towns alike that balance growth with responsible environmental stewardship.

As the community continues to evolve, these smart waste systems serve as a reminder that even everyday objects like public bins can play a major role in shaping a smarter and more sustainable future.
