It’s fantastic to see our Bigbelly bins at the Cliffs of Moher getting an fresh upgrade.
Inspired by the dramatic beauty of the cliffs themselves, the new wrap design also celebrates nearby landmarks like Loop Head and the Vandeleur Walled Gardens – bringing a strong sense of place to every unit.
Responsible Waste Disposal
Alongside the new look, we’ve introduced a fleet of 11 Bigbelly units including several multi-unit stations, making it easier than ever for visitors to dispose of waste responsibly. Whether it’s general waste, mixed recycling or bottles and cans, our Bigbelly bins have you covered – allowing for easy disposal and reduced contamination rates.
Some benefits of our multi-station units across sites like the Cliffs of Moher include:
- Increased recycling rates
- Reduced contamination
- On-the-go recycling for visitors
Protecting Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way
There’s nothing worse than visiting a place and all you can notice is the litter strewn around the grounds. What’s even worse, is when you combine this with wind, it distracts from the beautiful landscape and scenery – while also harming the environment.
Built for performance in even the toughest environments, our Bigbelly bins are perfectly suited to this remarkably windy location as the fully enclosed hopper design helps prevent wind-blown litter, keeping waste contained and the surrounding landscape litter-free.
This is a small but meaningful step toward protecting one of Ireland’s most iconic destinations along the Wild Atlantic Way, while also creating a more pleasant day out for visitors.
