We’re incredibly proud to announce that Future Street has won a Green World Award, an international honour within the renowned Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice.

The Green World Awards are part of a global campaign to identify and celebrate the world’s greenest countries, companies and communities. Future Street was selected from over 500 nominations worldwide, taking home silver from our category, Utilities: Environmental Improvement, placing our work among the very best examples of environmental innovation and impact on a global stage.

Celebrating at the House of Lords

The award was formally presented at a prestigious ceremony held at the House of Lords, where Future Street and our project partner Reigate & Banstead Borough Council received a prize and certificate in recognition of our achievement. As part of the awards’ commitment to sustainability, trees will be planted to offset the carbon footprint created by travel to the ceremony.

Sharing Best Practice Globally

As a Green World Award winner, Future Street’s winning paper will be published in The Green Book, the leading international reference guide on environmental best practice. This means our work will be shared worldwide, helping others to learn from our approach and replicate its impact in their own communities.
