At Future Street, our mission is to build cleaner, smarter, more efficient cities – but that mission starts with the people behind the scenes. Last week, our teams from all over Europe descended on Madrid for our annual sales meeting to align our vision for the future of urban waste management.
Day 1: Territory Insights
After settling in on Tuesday evening, we woke up fully rested and ready for the day ahead. Our UK team kicked things off with a deep dive into their latest strategies and customer success stories. Followed by updates from each of our territory reps across the continent, we got a masterclass in localizing global solutions.
The highlight of the afternoon was heading to the warehouse to meet the powerhouse team behind our Spanish operations. Trading spreadsheets for homemade pizzas, we enjoyed some downtime with the people who keep the Future Street wheels turning before heading back to our hotel for a well-earned beer-tasting session.
Day 2: Strategy Meets the Streets
Wednesday was all about the “How” as our Operations and Marketing teams took the floor to present the data and trends shaping our industry.
After a morning of big-picture thinking, we took to the streets of Madrid. Together with our partners at Bigbelly, we explored the beautiful Spanish Capital with our tour guide Miguel. Seeing the city’s beauty firsthand reminds us exactly why we do what we do: preserving urban spaces for generations to come. We capped the night with a traditional Spanish feast, complete with cervezas and cocktails.
Day 3: The Send-off
Before heading to the airport, we had one last session with the Bigbelly team to solidify our roadmap for the future. In true Future Street fashion, we couldn’t leave without a little celebration – specifically, with a Bigbelly bin cake that was almost too good to eat.
Our time in Madrid wasn’t just about targets and goals; it was about the synergy between all our European hubs. When we work together, the future of our streets looks brighter than ever.
