Located in Glasgow’s West End, Byers Road is the most cosmopolitan street in the city with a range of bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and now, 10 Bigbelly bins.

This street is the perfect spot for our Bigbelly Smart Max stations as the retail sector experiences high levels of footfall throughout the year. The high capacity of these stations combined with the enclosed design means Byers Road can deal with the large amounts of waste deposited on a daily basis and the bins can be emptied on a fixed schedule without disrupting the daily hustle and bustle of pedestrians, shoppers and students from the nearby Glasgow University.

The enclosed hopper design also means waste is not visible and bird and pest scavenging is prevented – creating a cleaner street and welcoming shop fronts.

Automated Notifications – allows crews to plan collections accordingly and avoid unnecessary trips, resulting in fewer customer disruptions.
