In Norfolk lies 85 acres of natural woodland that is home to the UK’s largest Dinosaur Themed Adventure Park, ROARR!, and we are delighted to be helping them achieve their sustainability goals with our Bigbelly Smart Max stations.

As the busy summer season gets underway, Theme Parks, Zoo’s and Farm Attractions are getting more and more popular, so it’s important to meet the ever-increasing waste demands that the increased visitor numbers bring to these parks.

19 Bigbelly stations are deployed around the park with several internal units offering waste disposal in food courts and restaurants, so visitors won’t have to go far to deposit their waste. The enclosed hopper design prevents pest access and ensures waste remains inside. This in turn leads to a better visitor experience, creating a clean and welcoming park.

Public Engagement

Our Bigbelly bins are a great addition to this dino park, and the customizable wraps offer creativity and inspire public engagement. In an effort to help calm nervous visitors, environmental champions Dippi, Paris, Terry and Raz were born. By incorporating these champions into the bin design, the stations integrate seamlessly into the park and encourage a fun way for children to dispose of waste while motivating them to do so correctly and responsibly.

Sustainability in Action

In addition to the Bigbelly bins, ROARR! have also implemented a range of other initiatives to help reduce their impact on the woodland:

• All food on their menus is locally sourced
• Rainwater is harvested and repurposed
• General waste is converted to fuel
